If Grindr would have showed me the same lack of regard as a customer as they've showed you - I would have already deleted them. There's another area where we're different.
For some companies and services, we have a choice.
For things like banks, coffee shops, Pattaya bars and 7-Elevens etc, there is choice. If one is no good, I take my business elsewhere, possibly even faster than you.
Now with Grindr, we have partial choice. There are other ways to meet boys.
However,
some boys only use one dating app and rarely visit bars. The number 2 boy on my all time list was met via Grindr and he hardly ever visited any bar. Several others that I know rarely visit the bars.
Also, in some countries, there are no bars and Grindr is popular. So I like to have options.
In Yangon, there were no gay bars, but they have very discrete massage shops, often upstairs with no signs. You need phone apps for that. And Grindr was one of the most popular.
Grindr finally unblocked my device, so I can open a new account, with a different email. However, they deem the original account to be compromised, so that is gone.
