Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but these music festivals are not music. They're just noise, and much too loud.
For my taste that is not music. This is:

I'm afraid none of the music linked appeals to me. A quick look at my mp3 player shows nothing composed after 1949!

Obviously we all have our different tastes in music - and none that I see include a taste for the music in Pattaya's Music Festival . . .

The noise (I won't call it music) started at 8.00am this morning and has continued on and off since.
They have built a large stage on the beach. A Thai boy band were rehearsing. The volume was so high that it made my ribs vibrate.

And I won't go anywhere near it. I value my eardrums.

I stopped by the Festival today after hearing music blasting all the way down the ocean from wall-to-wall speakers.
They won't open the gates until 5:00 PM - but at noon their were more cute boys hanging around than you see in Jomtien Complex on the best of nights.
If I was still a "boy hunter" I know where I'd be tonight...
