The Music starts

Post by Montree »

They've started preparing for the Music Festival on Pattaya Beach. The music this morning at 8.00am was staggeringly loud. I assume they were testing things. They did turn it down later and it's quiet now at 12.00.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but these music festivals are not music. They're just noise, and much too loud.

For my taste that is not music. This is:

I'm afraid none of the music linked appeals to me. A quick look at my mp3 player shows nothing composed after 1949!

Obviously we all have our different tastes in music - and none that I see include a taste for the music in Pattaya's Music Festival . . .

The noise (I won't call it music) started at 8.00am this morning and has continued on and off since.

They have built a large stage on the beach. A Thai boy band were rehearsing. The volume was so high that it made my ribs vibrate.

And I won't go anywhere near it. I value my eardrums.

I stopped by the Festival today after hearing music blasting all the way down the ocean from wall-to-wall speakers.

They won't open the gates until 5:00 PM - but at noon their were more cute boys hanging around than you see in Jomtien Complex on the best of nights.

If I was still a "boy hunter" I know where I'd be tonight... :ugeek:
