That's more often than I was expecting !
I thought you meant for taxi service - not food delivery.

We rarely if ever use food delivery services.

Did you guys know that you should be walking 10,000 steps a day to maintain good health...

Now that's the answer I was expecting when I asked first time !
I'm in agreement with this sentiment, but you STILL use food delivery more than me. Don't you know you need your 10,000 steps ?

I made my estimates based on Grab/Bolt motorcycle taxi prices. Now if they significantly undercut that, well it's a bargain. On the other hand, not only is the food at Thammachart excellent, but it also costs me only 70 baht. So there's not much in there to cross subsidise delivery.

I shall investigate delivery, but only due to the lack of a proper Thai veggie restaurant in Jomtien. The one they had has turned into another ******* weed outlet.

They do. I neither know nor care how the delivery guys get paid, but it doesn't come out of your pocket. I think you will be pleasantly surprised when you check into how much you pay. Delivery costs far less than it would cost to take a taxi to the restaurant, followed by another taxi to go back.

Don't forget, many more Thais than foreigners use these delivery services and they are not about to pay high delivery fees.
