On that note, I did observe a few things and will offer a few suggestions for those of you getting ready for this joyful occasion.

There is a .PDF file on the Pattaya Ex-Pats Club website that is very concise which I used to double check what was needed. I used the 800,000 Baht method which is the simplest as most of you know. Here is the link to the form for those interested.

Now a few helpful suggestions, take'm or leave'm.
Out of the six people in front of me this morning, not a single person had glued their photograph to the TM-7 application. It is a minor thing, but it means the immigration officer has to stop checking your documents and do for you what you should have already done. They also require that you include your phone number below your signature on the TM-7 application.
Sign ALL photocopies that you bring to immigration. The officer will require this as your certification that the photocopies are genuine to the originals. This will also save you time when you are sitting with the officer.
If you are renting a house or condo from a Thai owner, make sure you bring a copy of the owners Thai ID card and the Tabian Baan for the property as well as a copy of your lease. The ID copy and Tabian Baan should be signed by the owner and attached to the copy of your lease. That will save you another trip.
Make sure to take your "updated" passbook from the bank with you as well as your letter from the bank and photocopies of your bank book front page with your name and account number as well as a photocopy of the page that shows the date of the update and that the 800,000 has been there for the required amount of time. When the bank issued my letter yesterday, they also updated my bank book to show yesterdays date. Immigration did indeed check that date, but there was no mention of having to make a deposit.
If you take your Thai boyfriend/girlfriend or whatever with you to immigration, tell them to be quiet unless they are spoken to. There were a couple of instances observed where not following this advice caused more problems for the applicant than needed. All of the immigration officers I have dealt with over the years are able to speak English pretty well.
Immigration is closed tomorrow for a holiday 5/9/2019 and will reopen on Friday 5/10/19 in case any of you were planning to go to immigration tomorrow.
