We've no one to blame but ourselves. So read this and weep: the top 15 Dem candidates for 2020.
I considered listing some names but my stomach soon got queasy

Having looked at the list if Trump survives, in more than one way he should easily be re elected. I really was happy when Obama was first elected but has in my opinion became a whimp, but he has always been a nice guy someone to have a burger with.

I liked Elizabeth Warren from the beginning. If she runs in the next presidential election, unless Trump turns out to be one hell of a pleasant surprise, she would have my vote.
But Oprah Winfrey for President? No thank you.

Bernie, too old.
Lizzy, too butch.
Oprah, too black.
The other 12 cannot be taken seriously.

Lizzy might look like a Bull Dyke but for me that gives her a bit of appeal...like a bull dog.

I think the eastern liberal is persona non grata for the next few election cycles. You know you're an endangered species when one of your own--in this case, Anthony Bourdain--puts you in the cross hairs:
Anthony Bourdain, an outspoken critic of President-elect Donald Trump, has called out "privileged Eastern liberals" - including himself - for their "utter contempt" of working-class Americans that he says made Trump's presidency possible.
In an interview with Reason magazine, the celebrity chef and television host lamented the proliferating "fear of the Other," which he believes has led to a rise in nationalism globally, citing examples in the Philippines, Russia and Italy, as well as the Brexit vote earlier this year.
"When people are afraid and feel that their government has failed them they do things that seem completely mad and unreasonable to those of who are perhaps under less pressure," Bourdain said.

You sound like a T Rump supporter. I don't think Oprah would be a good choice either, but not because she is "too black".Alex wrote: Oprah, too black.

Oprah, too black.
Oprah is a more successful business person than Trump. She wasn't a legacy millionaire as is Trump.

Nonsense. She's too black in the sense that the country won't be ready for another black president anytime soon; it's an analysis - nothing to do with what I want. Also, it would be unwise to send a black or a female to challenge Trump in 2020. The ideal challenger would be a JFK or Bill Clinton type, but where to find him when you need him?lvdkeyes wrote:You sound like a T Rump supporter.
