Does anyone know where to get Butterball or Norbest frozen turkeys in Pattaya?

Friendship usually has Butterball, but not cheap.

Makro in past years had both brands @ competitive prices.

Why not call them?

Maybe it's too soon and the grocery stores simply are not stocking turkeys just yet.

Uh-oh. If the article is correct, I guess we'll all be eating chicken this Thanksgiving. Maybe capon or ostrich. Probably by Thanksgiving the Trump supporters will end up eating crow.

Is the USA the only country with turkey farms? Aren't there any turkey farms in Asia?

If Thailand embargoed turkeys from the USA, does anyone know why?

Thailand and several countries banned the import of all US uncooked frozen turkeys last year due to the treat of avian flu.

Norbest frozen turkeys are available at the meat distributor next to the Blue Olive restaurant. Price is a mind boggling 650B per kilo average size is 6+ kg. I bought one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas. They seemed to have an ample stock at that price they should. Villa also had some nasty looking Thai turkeys rapped in clear rap in their freezer section last week, price was the same @ 650B per kg. I would opt for the Norbest from the Meat market attached to the Blue Olive.

Well over US $100 for a 6kg turkey. I'd like a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving too, but at that price I'll survive without it.

Many restaurant websites that in the past announced Thanksgiving dinner have refrained this year from announcing anything.
