Which hook-up site works best for you?

For those of you who use the hook-up sites as part of finding willing young gents in Thailand, I'm wondering if you have any that seem to yield better results for you.

Let's see, there are hook-up sites such as:
Planet Romeo
Grindr
Hornet
JackD
Silver Daddies
Am I leaving any out?

For me, I get the best results from Planet Romeo.

Grindr, all things considered. That's in Bangkok where I live. In the provinces, I tend to think that Hornet is better nowadays. When I last got a new phone, earlier this year, I didn't bother installing JackD, GuySpy and Scruff anymore.

I don't use PlanetRomeo all that much in Thailand anymore, and then mostly to keep in touch with some old friends.

You have enlightened me. Until your post I had never heard of either of those. Are they any good in Thailand?

Not sure if this fits the category of best sites for finding somewhat young Thai guys, but I find that by entering a gogo bar or walking down the block in the Jomtien Complex from The Venue to the Poseidon. I find that looking at the boy or rather young man in the eye and viewing him in real life is a quest that goes way beyond my internet browsing. The rub in this logic is that I am not able to walk down the soi except for two weeks a year, and I can have a flight of fancy with a Gay Romeo (oops Planet Romeo) most anytime I have some spare time to waste on the internet. So, all said and done, I much prefer to eyeball my choice of the day, but am most happy to page through Planet Romeo in search of the perfect one most of the year. Hope springs eternal, I am still searching.

Blued is another app that is catching on fast.

Most the other apps are banned in China, but Blued is Chinese and very popular there

Tonnes of the Taiwan, HK and Chinese visitors to Pattaya and Bkk can be found cruising there (along with enterprising Thai boys who know where to find the closeted travellers!)

GuySpy and Scruff

You have enlightened me. Until your post I had never heard of either of those. Are they any good in Thailand?

GuySpy was quite popular among Thais in Bangkok some years ago, but it's been my impression that its usage has declined while Hornet has become increasingly popular. So I didn't bother to install it anymore.

Scruff is a bit a special case with a more narrow target group than the other gay apps (bears and scruffy guys, and their admirers). Not really my cup of tea, but at some point I read about the app and the team behind it, so I installed it.

I can't really compare. I have heard of all of them an have been using gayromeo for 6 years and hornet for 1.5 years and used grindr for a year (2014). To me it seems all the same endless chat and difficulty finding place and time for meeting.

No doubt they are much harder to use in BKK. The city is soooooo Big. But Pattaya they are easy. Romeo first and then Hornet. No problem in 90% of the cases getting them to come to you.

Grindr is the one I like least, because:

1 Most of the filters require premium membership, but are free on other sites. I believe the only free filter on Grinder is age.
There are multiple free filters on others, so I can filter for Asian, age range, with picture & other often other options.

2 Grindr seems to have some spammers, who send messages. These are typically about 5500~6500km from the UK, have a profile picture showing some really bulky guy between 30~50 and when I check the profile, despite having just received the message, it shows the guy hasn't been on for days. They do not say anything intelligent.

3 One profile picture. A good working boy should have several pictures.

JackD and Planet Romeo are my main choices, with some use of Hornet.

I kind of got forced to use Grindr again on a recent EU holiday, as that was the only app with people anywhere near where I happened to be.
