Shipping Parcel from Thailand to U.S.

Jay and I want to ship a 5 klg. carton of dresses to family members in the U.S. We went to Fed Ex in Naklua yesterday and they quoted 13,000 baht which seems a bit high so we are looking at other options.

We don't care how long it takes to ship...so express services are not needed.

I'm looking on-line at Thailand Post now which is rumored to have the best rates. Does anyone here have any experience with this.

Problem solved already.

Someone advised I use the Thai Post Office. They charge 5,000 THB. I just saved 8,000 THB on the advice I received.
