I hope they are going to build "simple and solid" with ample diagonal cross bracing and the roof firmly bolted to the walls. My general impression is that a few % extra spent on intelligent reinforcement can make a big difference (my profession was engineering, although not civil engineering).

Nope we collected about $1700 in total. Then Covid started... and now situation is even more worse: Jay-Em is locked on Boracay without job and source of money, his family is locked in home village also in half-constructed home. And everywhere is virus.






From time to time I send to Jay-em some small money to survive, but I also have "on hands" 30+ other guides who lost their job as well and just a few of them are from rich families.
