For those whose long distance flights are constantly interrupted by screaming babies, JAL has introduced an icon on its website to enable passengers to know where seats have been booked for passengers with children under two. Hopefully other airlines will follow suit.
A sound proof area at the rear for babies would be better.
Best of all would be an airline that forgets all the politically correct nonsense and bans babies, in the same way hotels some hotels ban under 18s, or under 16s. If operating on routes with much competition, I think it would be a good USP.
