Diamond Bar in Sunee Plaza is for sale.

Any takers ? That's your chance to make a small fortune. Providing, of course, you're starting with a large fortune.

That is incorrect.
I know from both him and several other current or past Sunee gogo-bar owners that the Police do NOT allow foreign boys in the gogobars in Sunee. So it isn't a matter of wanting to pay or not. That is why you only find thaiboys in Winnerboys and Niceboys, and before also in Eros, Powerboys etc. Why it is like this, when in Boyztown gogos it is different - who knows? Different turf bosses?
They don't seem to care about the beerbars in Sunee however.

That's interesting and of course the police would obviously be a reason for the reluctance to hire foreign staff in Sunee.

Now you mention it, whilst I have offed Lao Boys from Sunee gogo bars, the last definite one was in 2011, from Euro Boys and the others were probably earlier. None since, at least not on record.

We do see different standards in policing.
During the closures early last year, the police were raiding Jomtien to keep it closed, whilst other bars were open within earshot of Pattaya police station.
Then, over the years, we have read of lots of raids in Sunee (before it was killed off), some in Jomtien and virtually none in Boyztown.

adding to this list, supposedly the small Your Place bar in the Jomtien Supertown Complex is also for sale.
If you do not know where it is located in the Complex - it is right next to Sunee Bar - which is NOT in Sunee Plaza.

Lastly, there is a NEW massage shop - directly across from the Sunee Bar and its name is Paradise Massage.

Sunee Bar has some cute lads and is far enough away from the worst of the noise. Except when they or Your Place crank up the volume.

However, the toilet facilities are across the road at Paradise Massage. Having heard a description of these, it didn't sound like a Paradise. This might be a very good massage shop, but there are a few others higher on the "to do" list.

Breaking news - Jomtien Supertown Complex - Boxing altercation outside of the Soda Massage shop

Can any of you please verify what I just heard.

Supposedly earlier today, around 2am there was a rumble (the Thais who told me used the word - "there was a boxing") between around 6 guys from the BuBu bar and the Soda Massage shop guys. It is alleged that 1 BuBu bar guy walked over to the Soda Massage shop and slapped one of the masseurs in the face. Then a fight ensued. More and more guys got involved until the number was supposedly 6 BuBu bar guys versus around 10 Soda Massage guys. The fight got so bad that 2 bottles of whiskey were launched and one of the 2 bottles hit the windshield of the car of the owner of the O'Delice French bakery and broke the car windshield. Allegedly, O'Delice filed charges against the guy who launched the whiskey bottle which hit his car. It seems that all was caught on CCTV. The police were called and some of the guys were hauled off to jail and unfortunately for some they may be deported, as some who were involved in this rumble were not Thai.

I asked if any falangs were involved and the answer was NO - only Thai and Lao.

Did any of you hear anything?
Like what was the motivation behind this brawl ?

Might be time for a visit to Meeting Place or other nearby businesses to catch up on Jomtien gossip ?

At a more mundane level, I visited Winner Boys again. They had about 12 boys, so an improvement in numerical terms.
  • The super cute skinny one in white briefs (exactly what I like to see)
One slim and very hairy for a Thai (legs, arms, chest, torso)
A couple with too many tattoos, but in reasonable shape otherwise.
One large slightly muscular guy with tattoos and moustache
One tall, slim and slightly hairy
Three flabby, probably higher BMI than their fittest customers
Plus about 3 more sat with customers, of which one or two looked interesting. Looks like the customers have good taste .?
This certainly isn't the reincarnation of Euro Boys. The selection of lads is closer to what I would expect at Nice Boys, rather than the good selection typically seen at Winner pre-covid.

I hope they can find a few more of the cute and skinny type of lad, as no other gogo really caters for that these days.

If only Thai boys are being hired, getting larger numbers of bar boys might be a problem. Time will tell. I would think in many cases working in a go-go bar is more attractive to some boys than working on the rice farm.

GB I would agree with your assessment.
3 days ago I met a new Thai arrival directly from Isaan. He is 38 years old, sexy, and masculine. I assumed that he had been here before. I asked him how many times has he been to Pattaya and an escort. He replied, I just arrived to Pattaya for the first time and I am a new escort.
I replied, wow, you are starting late in life in this career. He then showed me some photos of him on the farm in the rice paddys. I saw what looked like bruises on his muscular shoulders. He said that these bruises were from the hard work of life on the farm. He said that he could no longer continue that life anymore as it was too demanding and too low paying. He said that he heard that in Pattaya he could make easy money and so he came.

So, the allure of Pattaya for a Thai national is still very strong even at an older age.

Ask him if he has a brother half his age.
