I've seen a few drivers who I would be happy to accommodate if they wanted to service my engine . . .

Well, to add another to the list.
I used Mr. Deang from another member's recommendation from Tarntawan (central Bangkok) to Copa Hotel (South Pattaya).
I will use next time.
Fare 1200 each way (airport rather than Bangkok, 1000).

Mobile (perfect English) 081 616 1322 Also on LINE.

I used to use Gems and Phon but this time could find no way to contact them.

Hey guys thanks for all the advise . Yes it is from BKK to Pattaya . The days of arrival will be January 10 and leaving February 16.
I just was not sure about the leaving at 11 or 12 at night if that would be a problem. Thanks again for all the help

Leaving at 12 at night can be a problem. Only because of confusion with the time and date when scheduling your taxi. In Thailand most use 24 hour system while many from US use the 12 hour clock.

It's easier that that. Don't book at midnight, book for 23.45 or, for midday, book for 11.45.

I have a feeling you just caused a number of people to say to themselves, "Why didn't I think of that?"
