Why not just go ahead and post it - and disregard Undaunted's usual snide, totally unnecessary remark? I knew he would do that. I knew it before he knew it.

I do a lot of my own cooking at home, but I don't have that problem because I've never made a layer cake. Maybe some time I will. It wouldn't hurt anything to have information for future reference.

It's a guide to allow to slice layers thinly. I have 2 of them and was going to give one to anyone who bakes cakes. Apparently No one here does.
