I hope that's true, but so far I'm not seeing anything similar in any of the mainstream media.

I doubt it's going to make any difference to the election. I believe most Trump supporters are still going to support Trump and most Clinton supporters are still going to support Clinton. Both candidates have had their share of scandals. So far I have seen nothing to indicate that people are changing their minds about who they're going to vote for.

I doubt many Clinton supporters really give a damn about the Emails and I doubt many Trump supporters really give a damn about his groping.

BOROWITZ REPORT
QUEEN OFFERS TO RESTORE BRITISH RULE OVER UNITED STATES
By Andy Borowitz , OCTOBER 29, 2016

http://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz ... ted-states

LONDON (The Borowitz Report)—In an unexpected televised address on Saturday, Queen Elizabeth II offered to restore British rule over the United States of America.

Addressing the American people from her office in Buckingham Palace, the Queen said that she was making the offer “in recognition of the desperate situation you now find yourselves in.”

“This two-hundred-and-forty-year experiment in self-rule began with the best of intentions, but I think we can all agree that it didn’t end well,” she said.

The Queen urged Americans to write in her name on Election Day, after which the transition to British rule could begin “with a minimum of bother.”

Elizabeth acknowledged that, in the wake of Brexit, Americans might justifiably be alarmed about being governed by the British parliamentary system, but she reassured them, “Parliament would play no role in this deal. This would be an old-school monarchy. Just me, and then, assuming you’d rather not have Charles, we could go straight to William and those children of his who have mesmerized you so.”

Using the closing moments of her speech to tout her credentials, the Queen made it clear that she has never used e-mail and has only had sex with one person “very occasionally.”

Why not treat politics like the sport it seems to have degenerated into? Like footballers (soccer players) each political leader would have a transfer fee (vaguely related to his or her supposed worth) and the rich countries who could afford it could try and 'sign' their favoured player(s). For example an extremely wealthy country such as the USA could bid to sign a 'world-class' politician such as Angela Merkel and if Germany was feeling the pinch might be tempted to sell. Following his defeat and collapse of his transfer fee, a poor country in Africa such as Zimbabwe might attempt an audacious swoop for Trump. Quite who'd end up with Mugabe is perhaps best left to the imagination.

I've seen a lot of Moore's stuff and the one in Trumpland was comfortably his worst. Boredom ensued early on and persisted.

My opinion is precisely the opposite. I thought it was fantastic and a 'must see.' Nothing about it bored me.

According to CNN's latest predictions, Clinton is still winning - not by as much as before, but still winning. CNN says even if Trump wins all of the 'battleground states,' that's still not enough for him to win the election. He would also have to win at least one of the 'leaning toward Democrat' states.

New polls show tight Clinton-Trump race nationally, battlegrounds

By Eric Bradner, CNN
October 31, 2016

Washington (CNN)

Hillary Clinton holds a slim lead over Donald Trump, a new national poll shows.

An ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll released Sunday showed Clinton ahead 46% to 45% -- narrower than Saturday's 2-point Clinton edge.

In CNN's Poll of Polls, which averages results for the five most recently released national surveys, Clinton has a 47% to 42% advantage over Trump. That's unchanged from the most recent Poll of Polls on Saturday.

The ABC/Washington Post poll found that more than 6 in 10 voters say the news that the FBI is investigating newly discovered emails that could be related to Hillary Clinton's private server will make no difference in their vote, while 3 in 10 say it makes them less likely to back Clinton.

Sunday morning also brought a new set of battleground state polls.

In North Carolina -- a must-win state for Trump -- an NBC/Wall Street Journal/Marist University poll found Clinton ahead, 47% to Trump's 41%. The same poll found Clinton ahead 48% to 43% in early October.

In Florida, an NBC/Wall Street Journal/Marist University survey shows a dead heat -- with Clinton at 45% and Trump at 44%, a one-point drop for Clinton since the same poll's last results in early October, when Clinton led 46% to 44%.

Meanwhile, a New York Times Upshot/Siena poll found Trump ahead -- 46% to 42% -- in Florida. The same poll had found the candidates even at 43% apiece in September.

A white nationalist Donald Trump supporter in Utah has launched a robocall smear campaign in Utah designed to prevent independent Evan McMullin from winning the state’s 6 electoral votes.

The calls, which are targeting some 200,000 residents of the conservative state, according to the Salt Lake Tribune, say, among other things, that “Evan is over 40 years old and is not married and doesn’t even have a girlfriend. I believe Evan is a closet homosexual.”
