I fear to think what other countries are thinking when watching this political circus.

I don't fear it, but - once again - I'm embarrassed by how we probably look to the rest of the world.

Especially countries where the USA has been trying to convince them to go with American style democracy. One look at this presidential campaign and they're probably thinking "You want to give us this? Thank you very much, but I think we'll just stick with our dictatorships."

That's becoming more and more likely as we're confronted daily with ever yet more unthinkable crap. Check out how democracy has worked out in the Philippines, Brazil, Venezuela. And it's not impossible that The Donald still could bully his way into the job. Know that sounds crazy but we constantly being forced to expand our definition of crazy.

So before the colosseum-like debate on tap shortly maybe we could get a laugh from last night's Saturday Night Live weekend update segment.

As if Donald Trump's never ending hypocrisies aren't obvious enough, here's a beaut ...

Donald Trump skewered a "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant and fired her in 2010 for using what he called "locker room" language that he apparently found distasteful when spoken in his boardroom during an episode of the show in 2010.

During a confrontation with professional wrestler Maria Kanellis, Trump criticized her for using the word "crap" to describe another contestant's actions.

“Isn’t it sort of gross bringing that up? It’s, like, disgusting,” Trump said. "This is my boardroom. It’s not a locker room. Maria, you’re fired.”

I hate to break the news, but you don't get to decide that. Everyone is free to post as much as they want about the election, with or without your approval. And with close to a month to go, if the posts annoy you, I am not aware of anyone forcing you to read this topic. There will probably be plenty more posts and I welcome them all - even if any come from Trump supporters.

32 pages and 314 posts on this topic so far. I don't care if it goes up to 1000 pages before it's over. Not all that long ago I used to limit topics to 10 pages and then would close them. There was a lot of opposition to that, so I opened a poll and said I would go with what the board membership decides. The membership voted for unlimited numbers of pages for individual topics.

GB, I think you misunderstood Undaunted's point. I think he was talking about the TV news channels and not posting boards. If so, he's right, I think. There is a lot going on in the world besides US elections although I confess I find myself little interested in much else.

Yes he has misunderstood, and yes I am interested in everything else....As Hillary will win...the only thing that is of interest is what will change in congress......Without a democratic shift expect nothing new, just the same old Gridlock!
