QUIZ NIGHT FINDS A WELCOMING NEW HOME

Following the recent closing of ALL OF ME BAR in Sunee Plaza, the monthly TAKE CARE!! Quiz Night has been actively looking for a new home.

We are happy to announce that MAN CLUB in Jomtien Complex will host its first Quiz Night on Sunday, 11 September at 9:00 pm. MAN CLUB has an ambience just made for Quiz Night … the doors close to shut off the sound of the Complex, the bar is air conditioned, sound system in place for Martyn the Quizmaster and snacks will be served. Each player pays 100 baht and there will be a bottle of spirits going for the lucky ticket at 50 baht per ticket. All funds raised are donated to TAKE CARE!! to provide funds for HIV/AIDS preventions efforts.

Come solo or bring your team …… see you on Sunday 11 September …. QUIZ NIGHT AT MAN CLUB WILL BE LOADS OF FUN!!!!

At dinner tonight a friend told me he was at the quiz nite and said that the Take Care group complained to the owner Steve that the food he served was not up to what they expected at which point Steve owner of "Man Club" said never again. I could be wrong but if I remember correctly The Corner Bar in Sunee while owned by Micheal also had issues with the Take Care group. If I am mistaken I am sure Take Care will take this opportunity to correct me.

I am not a member of Take Care, but I do know the problems, whatever they were, between Take Care and Man Club have been resolved and Quiz Nights will resume there.

I'll let somebody from Take Care submit whatever details they feel are appropriate to post when they are ready to do so.

It's their decision, of course, but in my opinion Take Care ought to post exactly what happened - and without sugar coating - rather than letting the rumor mill tell their versions of what happened, and so far I've heard several versions. It's not exactly a big secret anymore that something happened.

If there were also problems between Take Care and Corner Bar, I don't know what happened there either. I don't remember hearing about any problems. In any case, that's a few years ago now and I, for one, couldn't care less what might have happened years ago at a bar that no longer exists.
