Explosion New York City Intentional act Suspected

29 people injured, police search for residue of a bomb, not a gas explosion.

Several videos and updates can be seen at: http://edition.cnn.com/2016/09/17/us/ne ... index.html

There were a lot of injuries. Fortunately no one was killed and all of the injury victims are expected to survive.

So far, no word from Trump blaming Clinton or Obama . . .

Doesn't seem to matter anymore. The Trump talking heads know quite well that as long as incidents such as those like the recent New York bombings happen the Fear Factor will kick in multiplicatively, and Trump gets the benefit automatically, and for free.
Pathetic ... yup, for certain.
The upcoming debates will be unbelievably important: one last moment for Clinton to resurrect herself. If she fucks it up ... hello Trump The Prez.

N.Y.C. Bomber arrested after shootout , linked to recent bombing in New Jersey, appears to be a "lone wolf".

God help us, I have the feeling that yet another "death penalty vs. rot in supermax" discussion is upon us. What's wrong with the police, they have no problem with killing unarmed teenagers, but when they arrest terror suspects, their survival rate even when violently resisting arrest looks high to me.

I like both. At least 10 years in a supermax while the case is appealed, followed by carrying out the death penalty suits me just fine for terrorists. I only wish the death penalty for terrorists was slow strangulation by hanging with piano wire on a meat hook.

I would let it be known that an act of terror against any U.S. citizens anywhere in the world would result it the execution of the terrorist and their entire family.

I can agree with executing the terrorist, but his entire family? Come on.

I believe you are wrong, because a large percent of these terrorists are fanatics and nothing would please them more than to die.....putting their family at stake is a much greater consequence.
