Funny Boys Gogo bar in Boyztown Pattaya sold.

I learned tonight that Funny Boys Bar on Pattayaland Soi 3 was sold by the farang owner to
the Thai manager. The transfer is effective this Monday. The two very successful boy Gogo bars in Boyztown are owned and run by Thais. I am referring to Toy Boys and Boyzboyzboyz Bars. There's a Taiwan Chinese connection in Toy Boys or at least was in the past, but no
Farang bosses.

AFAIK TB has been owned by the same Taiwan couple for the last 16 years.
Older boss is no longer in Thailand, but his younger Taiwan BF is still there pulling the strings with the Thai & Cambodian management

Older boss, Mr. Chen died several years ago. His much younger partner is rarely seen and Toy Boys is managed
by a Thai man, who has been at Toy Boys since it opened many years ago. Toy Boys is the most successful boy Gogo
bar in Pattaya, without a show.
Boyzboyzboyz rose to greatness when the old farang management ended. Many farangs would not enter due to the personality
and history of former farang owners. The ancient 'buffalloes' (large Thai men well past 40) have all moved on. They still have a Tiffany part of the late show but it's no longer an old drag queen scene.
Of course, 'greatness ' is subjective but with full houses nightly, its success cannot be denied.

One can assume an arrangement or perhaps the Thai man has a patron, inherited money or worked out a payout.
Certainly nobody's business but the principals involved.

That your guys know who owns a bar. I go to Thailand for quite some time and when I enter a go go bar I sit down, watch show, off a boy and go back to hotel.

But apparently there are Farang who chat with the Thai boy who brings them their drink and asks him: "I am interested to know who owns this place. You have a name for me. Can I please talk to him". When I chat with the waiter boy this aren't the questions I am asking.

I guess Farangs who have their own business back home are interested in this? Personally, I really don't care at all. I often read in forums people who say "this bar is owned by a German", "this bar has now a new owner". This all is 100% blackbox for me. Always wondered how they know about that. In all my chats with boys the topic who owns the bar has never been brought up. Not by me, not by him.

For thaifarang's information..this may be shocking to some, but farangs talk to each other and exchange information.

The farang owner of Funny Boys has been having a difficult time health wise and was looking for a partner or to sell
for quite some time.

The farang manager of Funny Boys and Panorama Bar told me about the sale. Farang to farang. The farang ownership
and management of Panorama Bar remains unchanged.
