Supreme Court Justice Scalia Dead at 79

In a year of political upheaval it has become even more complicated. Arch-conservative Scalia has died. Below is an analysis of the immediate consequences of his death.

And now the battle with the obstructionist senate begins. They are likely to refuse to approve any nomination President Obama makes. We will see how the GOP has fought the president on every front once again.

The news media wasted no time publishing articles about every imaginable aspect of Scalia, his death, and what Obama should do about nominating a new Supreme Court justice.

Scalia was second only to the good Reverend Phelps in his anti gay stance, despite the guarantees in the US Constitution that Scalia was supposed to be there to uphold. He is also the man who said proof of innocence is insufficient to release a convicted prisoner.

A common phrase when a celebrity dies is "There will never be another one like him." In Scalia's case, I hope not. Forgive me please, but I'm not exactly all broken up about his demise.

It amplifies the importance of a Democrat winning the next Presiential election as well as the U.S. Senate.
The House of Representatives isn't possible until the gerrymandering of districts to insure conservative Republicans
