Post by thaiworthy »

A new survey has revealed how often gay men lie on dating apps and their online mating habits.

Nearly 4,000 gay men aged 18 to 65 participated in the grabhim.net survey over four weeks in February.

Some 83% of respondents admitted to sending pictures of their penis, which could explain why only 3% said they exaggerate their size when asked.

Three in ten gay men lie about their age, height or weight. So it's no wonder why 27% said most of the guys they had met in person looked worse than their pics.

Most respondents needed to see at least three photos before they felt comfortable meeting, but 30% had met someone in person without seeing pictures of their face.

Nearly half of meetups do not turn into dates or hookups but 50% of guys who agree to meet up, meet at their homes.

Seven in ten respondents had met somebody that resulted in some kind of a sexual relationship, ie dates, boyfriends or friends with benefits, not just a one-off hookup.

Nearly 60% of HIV negative respondents said they were unliked/highly likely to initiate contact with initiate contact or respond favorably to attractive guys who state they are HIV positive in their profiles.

Nine in ten respondents living with HIV said they disclose their status before having sex but 10% do not disclose until specifically asked.
