Thanks for the impressions.
I have been considering Bali as an alternate if Thailand becomes impossible.
Even if I go to Thailand, I might take a side trip to Bali.
Sounds interesting with enough "extras" to make it worthwhile.

Best travel time is between june and september. Once stayed january but never again. Tips for sex between 15 and 30 $ or more. Same same LOS ....up to you. Location is here more important than LOS. Taxi are enough but only use BlueBird and have small cash. Now they have enough ATM and no fee to pay. Departure tax now 200000. VOA also very easy but have US Dollar or they will cheat you. I gave 25 Euro and got back around 20000 and not 60000.

I would like to visit Bali some time, just as soon as I can fit in a break in the June~September period.

Good to hear tips are about the same as Thailand.
Seems to be a difference in massage costs, as a banana creme massage is 250,000, ie 6~700 baht. An oil massage in Thailand is typically 400 baht.

You get it in normal massage shops very cheap. Gay massage parlors take higher prices. I recommend also go early for check in and hurry to immigration. No fast track. I needed today 50 min. to leave. Next surprise i wanted to change back some millions of rupie but there is no more any bank in the transit. Nowhere a sign you must change before and the next trap....keep 200000 for departure tax. If somebody need i can give you email of very good and reliable driver for pick ups and drop offs. So i will change the money in Singapore. I learned i can take 50 mill. with me. Had a wonderfull good bye in the hotel. Very lovely staff. Now i wait for boarding for my flight to Doha. KLM is very delayed.

Arrived in time in Doha in the new but not ready Hamad Airport. Had luck and got a seat in the lounge. 7am is boarding for the flight to Istanbul. Slept very good in the 777-300ER.

Sounds like you had a fantastic time in Bali. Is it ok to take back "guests" to the hotel?

Yes there was no problem but you must register your guest. They must have ID Card. Greetings from Istanbul and already checked in to Singapore again with QR. Already have some appointments in the afternoon with 2 young men but for free. No money involved. Bali had it once also.

Smooth arrival in Singapore. Immigration empty and no problems with customs. Taxi about 20 Dollar to Novotel. Have room in 24th floor near the lounge. Balcony with view over the river. Room is big as normal exec. Floor room compared with a suite i had here already.

Slept wonderful and had real good breakfast in the lounge in Novotel at 6am. Now already sitting in Skyviewlounge of Cathay near my gate and wait my flight to Bangkok. I will return to Novotel. I changed my baht already here because of no fees at ATM. Today evening will enjoy dinner in Le Meridien because they have special offer for 650 baht only.
