Where do you live and what time is breakfast?
The breakfast starts when I wake up so that would be any time between 8 am and 2 pm .

My favourite right now is a french omelet with cheese, spring onion , parsley and garlic. . And a fresh cup of espresso or cappuccino made from the best arabica coffe beans handpicked in Chiang Rai. I grind the beans myself.

Having picked my share of coffee beans (actually called cherry at that point) I'd venture a guess that there's precious little - if any - that's not picked by hand, but I'll agree; coffee from the area loke mentions can be quite good... I brought a kilo of nicely roasted beans home last year. Opium poppy growers are being taught to grow something else, and coffee is one of those things.

I thought I'd chip in and give the Irish Rovers a mention. Their breakfast was recommended to me, so I jumped on a baht bus at the top of Soi Buakhao near TukCom and got off at Soi Diana Inn. I found the Irish Rovers on Soi L.K.Metro just off Soi Diana Inn.

The bar was clean, air-conditioned and the staff friendly. I ordered a breakfast of 2 sausages, 2 slices of back bacon, a round of fried bread, a round of toast, fried potatoes, grilled tomato, baked beans in tomato sauce, fried mushrooms, 2 fried eggs, a slice of black pudding, a small glass of orange juice and a large mug of tea/coffee. The price was 99 baht. The quality of the food was good and it was well cooked and presented. They charge 40 baht for a second mug of tea/coffee.

I've had breakfasts as good in Pattaya, but none that offer such great value for money.
