Rich Man Poor Man
Re: Rich Man Poor Man
As a smoker I still empathize with those who object to smoking in closed spaces. But rather than get so riled up about it, doesn't it just make more sense to simply not eat there? RMPM has a varied and raucous clientele. Amongst the regulars are grizzled Afghanistan army veterans, oil derrick workers from the Middle East, and sundry guys who meet there to review their golf games, watch sports on the TV's and have more than a beer or two. While the owner would certainly miss the patronage of those who object to smoking, I think his customer base would dwindle if he instituted strict controls on their behavior. That being said, most smokers (me included) step outside when the urge to smoke strikes, but admittedly not all.

I've been there twice and I will go again. If smoking is an issue I will follow advice and not make a big scene but simply no longer patronize. Really like the food though, Anybody know if they do takeout or have some delivery service like Door2Door?
Re: Rich Man Poor Man
Yes, they are planning on having a delivery service in a month or two. I don't know if they have take away items, but if they don't they're the only restaurant in town I know of which doesn't.

Yes, they have take away. I have sent the bf several times over the past couple of months to pick up and bring home a chicken fried steak dinner when I didn't feel like cooking or going out.RichLB wrote:I don't know if they have take away
