After reading this request, I tried deleting board cookies again. It logged me out !
I deleted the cookies again & this time it did not log me out.

The cookies have not been there long, as I tried deleting them when the board was slow a couple of days back.

From time to time it repeats. With all sites. With my forum also.

Up until about three months ago, for me, it took about two seconds to pull up the home pages of Gaybutton Thai and Sawatdee Gay Thailand websites. It now takes 25-30 seconds. Once the home pages are acquired, pulling of various posts requires one or two seconds. I find it curious that the delays started for both websites at about the same time. I have not experience similar delays from other websites.

For me, this board has been OK for the last few days. OK, there is the Captcha thing when first opening the site, but that's quite common these days. Once it's up, switching threads is very quick, at present. [Not that there's a vast amount of new content to switch to].

Every time there's a problem here, I go and check Sawatdee, as I understood both were on the same server ?
However, for me, problems usually only affect one of the sites.

One of the things that might help would be if everyone who experiences a problem alerts me to it immediately. This topic is a perfect example. Apparently several of you started experiencing slow board loading, but nobody told me. I didn't know about the slow board problem until it started happening to me. When it did, I alerted Moses right away. But some of you started having that problem before I did - and if the problem didn't happen to me too, I would not have known about it.

Folks, we can't deal with these technical problems if we don't know they are happening. Don't assume if a problem is happening to you, then it must be happening to everyone else too. It doesn't work that way. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you experience problems.

As for the slow board problem, I believe Moses has it taken care of and nobody should still be having that problem. But if you are, please let me know.

I think Moses will be removing that captcha item soon. He put it in place because it stopped bots flooding the server, and that is what was causing the slow board problem. If he removes it and the problem does not arise again, it will probably stay removed. If the problem starts up again he probably will put it back.

Look at the bright side - Moses has the expertise that I don't. When problems arise I usually have no clue how to fix them, but Moses does know and he has always fixed them and quickly. He is right on top of of it. Without the help of Moses this board would have disappeared long ago.
