My favorite news reports are the ones demonstrating abject stupidity. This one is from just a couple days ago. This Chinese tourist who had no problems in Thailand was at the airport, passing through the last obstacle before going to board his flight back to China. Apparently he had trouble getting the gate to open. Did he contact airport staff to help him? Noooooo. Instead he did this and now finds himself financially responsible for the damage and banned from Thailand.
