Re: sunee plaza alive?
Wow! It's great to hear from you after so much time. I hope you are planning to go to Pattaya again at least for a visit.
Unfortunately Sunee Plaza has become dead as a doornail. Sunee Plaza is hardly ever even mentioned in posts anymore. Now just about everything has shifted to Jomtien Complex.
The truth is the death of Sunee Plaza began the day you and Thomas left. I'm not making that up. I truly believe if you and Thomas had never left, Sunee Plaza would still be thriving today.
Everyone who knew you misses you very much. Many of us still talk about Corner Bar and how much we enjoyed being there. On nights I couldn't be there I always felt I was missing something.
I hope we will see you again, but be careful - I'm sure many of us will try our best to convince you to open another bar . . .
Re: sunee plaza alive?
I was starting to ask myself the same question about you...
Seriously...Great to hear from you,
Please update on how things are going for you and Thomas (either here or on PM); Are you and Thomas still staying together? How is life treating you guys? Any plans for a return visit?
Sunee was never the same after you sold Corner. As far as I'm concerned that was the beginning of the end...at least as far as the wild times we all had there during the Good-Old-Days.
Today, Sunee only has a few bars open...limited traffic... but Corner, even with its shuttered doorways, still stands proudly - with the ghosts of the past standing in its shadows, smiling and waving every time I take a ride past for a dose of nostalgia. I always picture Thomas sitting in his corner seat fidgeting with his gizmos - while you sit next to the popcorn machine sipping wine from a fish bowl...LOL
Those were the days!
Please take care... say hi to Thomas for me...and don't be a stranger.
Cheers
Vic

Well it's Easter Sunday and there's been no sign of a resurrection so I guess it'd dead for good.
Re: sunee plaza alive?
We are still alive. I am retired again since 2019. living on SS, so visiting will probably not happen. Have a mobile home on the lake so nice place. Have a little camper we take to a local gay campground couple of times a month. Need some thin guy porn DVDs if y'all see one of the street hustlers with any, of age of course. the DVDs the campground has only has fat hairy old men, yuck. trying to sell and move to Florida if we can ever get motivated enough. i have seen that many of my former staff have died, miss you all.
Re: sunee plaza alive?
Glad you're still above water and you guys are doing OK.
Sorry to hear about some of your staff passing away. They were so young.
If you remember "Day"...the heavy-set smiling waiter that worked Corner for a good while. He now works in the stockroom at Friendship Supermarket. He hasn't changed a bit.
I haven't seem Em for a long time and always wondered where she/he ended up.
Take care...say hi to Thomas...and thanks for all the great memories.

Still dead. And in a few days will be even deader when one of the last bars will close too.
