Yesterday, I had a call from the Shopee delivery guy asking where my address was.
1. I've had several successful deliveries to the same address. The Shopee map finds the correct location and google also does.
2 The address from the hotel does not include the soi number. The hotel across the road does include the soi, but that does not appear to be normal practice.
3 If I attempt to edit the address and include the Soi number, like the hotel across the road, Shopee puts the location in Na Jomtien. It refuses attempts to correct that.
I assume the delivery firm are incompetent ?

Re: Thai Addresses?
If you can, send the GPS coordinates to the driver. Most of them have GPS on their phones. Also, you can send your location via LINE if the driver has LINE. My guess is he probably does.
If nothing else perhaps you can get a Thai person to explain to him how to get there.

Re: Thai Addresses?
That sounds like you have considerable experience of the problem.
I was naively hoping to specify an address that results in reliable delivery every time, with no further questions. Just like in the UK.
As it is, either the hotel name or the numbers in the address get the correct location on google maps. And the Shopee app shows the correct location.
So I presume either this delivery company or their driver were incompetent.
Even if I would prefer to add the Soi to the address.

Re: Thai Addresses?
Actually, hardly any. In all the years I've lived here I remember only twice when a delivery driver had trouble finding me. That was long ago, before GPS was common on mobile phones and before I had ever heard of LINE.
I simply know what I would do in such a situation. I see GRAB drivers always using GPS to get to their destination. I know LINE can send your location to any other LINE user. And the first time it happened, I had a Thai neighbor explain to the delivery guy how to get here.
I think the best thing to do, much better than the soi address, is providing your GPS location. If you do that, I doubt you'll have any more trouble.
Re: Thai Addresses?
I noticed the hotel has new business cards. The address on those now includes the Soi number.
However, I'm still going to have problems adding that to the address in Shopee, for reasons already explained. Three out of four deliveries arrived here without problem. The remaining one arrived after one short phone call.
