I often wonder if those pics are taken in customers rooms so they look good when advertising for business!

Maybe some are, especially photos taken in what obviously are hotel rooms when they were taken off. But you will also find many that just as obviously are their own rooms.

Most are very neat and clean. Even the boys - just look at boy photos on the apps when the photo shows their rooms. Their rooms and floors are always spotless.

I suspect there is some filtering going on here.
The boys with immaculate rooms and 10 pairs of immaculate white trainers on a rack post their photos on the internet.
Those who live in a tip do not post any photos in their own room.

It's the same with photos in customer's rooms. When I stay somewhere nice and haven't filled the bathroom with toiletries, photos taken in my room might sometimes make it onto their profiles. When my accommodation is less presentable, they don't post photos.
