It appears that the latest generation of Cambodian money boys choose to work in Pattaya or Bangkok. Jomtien is the easiest place in the world to find available Cambodian boys.
If the Thai mafia insists on driving them out, I'll just have to spend more of my holiday in Cambodia.
Apparently the Thai military has just closed all Thai/Cambodian border crossings.

There is probably no change for the illegal ones who bypass the border crossings. They are in Thailand illegally & just carry on as they were. Perhaps there's an increased risk of getting caught, but probably not much if their bar is paying sufficient tea money.
The ones who have been in Thailand legally, with up to date passport stamps have more of a problem. Overstay is problematic, as immigration will have a record of this. If they want to stay legal, presumably they have to fly home, or travel via Laos.
I can think of two boys with less than a week to go.

There are literally hundreds of jungle crossings the natives know about that will probably continue to be used by some, but it's getting riskier every day.
As it is today, the Cambodian boys who are in Thailand legally have more of a problem. The costs of getting the stamps in the passport has increased dramatically. They need to buy flights or possibly travel via Laos every 6 days.
The ones here illegally can carry on as normal & only have a problem if the police set out to round them all up and not accept the normal tea money. So far, it appears they have only targetted Boyztown. So that might be about tea money.
This could change any time. But has anyone ever seen Pattaya police attempt to deport all illegals, rather than just manage their portfolio of tea money payers ?
