It's nothing they don't already have 10-trillion times anyway - just the usual stuff - name, date entered Thailand, birthday, address - nothing more personal than that. It's actually much less information than you have to submit when doing the report personally at immigration.

When you do it online, they send you an Email when the next one is due (which they don't do if you submitted at immigration), an Email letting you know your submission was accepted, and one more Email letting you know if your application was approved or rejected.

My unsolicited advice is to try it once. If you like it, now you have the option of doing it online or going to immigration. You can do it up to 14 days in advance of your current due date. I always do it well in advance in case mine gets rejected. That still gives me the better part of 2 weeks to get to immigration before the current report expires.

That's exactly what I remember telling myself the first time I saw a boy gogo bar in Pattaya...and look what happened...

As far as I can tell, whatever the problems were, the system works now. Today I received my 90-day address report approval and this is the third time in a row my report has been approved. Assuming the system continues to work, the only time in the near future I'll have to trek to immigration again is when it comes time to extend my retirement visa.

I have been using the online 90 day report for quite some time. When I received my new passport, that did require a visit to Immigration to file the report. For my next report, no problem logging in with new passport number. Completed the information and submitted the report. It was approved within a couple of days.

What I like about the system is it sends you a reminder 2 weeks before the due date (with the online system you can use it to make the report up to the due date but not after - if doing in person, you have a 7 day grace period after the due date to report). Another feature is once I log in to do the report, I only have to enter my passport number and nationality. I then click on the magnifying glass icon and the form auto fills in with all my information. Then its click the block at the bottom agreeing to the terms and then the submit button.

Almost immediately I get an email with the completed first part of the form attached (this is not the approval). Usually within a day or three, I get an email with the approval portion of the form completed which I print out and replace the old one that keep with my passport.

All in all, a minute or so is all the time it takes which certainly beats the time it takes to go to Immigration, get a queue number, give the report when called along with supporting documents they now require when doing it in person, and then wait to get the passport back with the approval section completed.

So they can do software properly.

I'd like to see that on some other applications.

When it is time to submit the next address report they always send an Email - except THIS time! No Email came and I had forgotten about it. For no particular reason I had a look at the address report in my passport and I guess I got a lucky surprise. The report is due April 23 and today is April 21. I submitted the online report and am waiting for approval. I hope I get the approval and get it on time so I won't have to trek to immigration.

I don't know why I even checked, but luckily I did. In all my years in Thailand I have never been late filing whatever documents immigration wants. I hope that won't happen now. Now fingers crossed in hopes of no problems.

It has been a while, but there was one time that I also did not receive the email notice. Fortunately, when I get a new reporting date I set it up in my calendar with notices to be received 1 week and 1 day before the due date, which alerted me to the need to do it.

I have sent a report in on the due date and it was approved. Although there is no grace period for the online reporting, you can still go in person up to 7 calendar days after the due date without penalty.

Ok, in the late afternoon my report was approved - just in time. One less thing to worry about.
