I'll start by saying Immigration has changed the rules again and hasn't bothered to tell anyone, as far as I know. Are we surprised?
My latest 90 deadline was Sunday April 27. I filed my online request on April 25 and received the expected We have received your request notification. It was approved on Monday 28th, according to Immigration's update status. However I did NOT receive the email conformation, please print out and staple in your passport.
My Thai partner phoned Immigration Police today and was told that the last date you can file for a 90 days is a week out. I should have filed by April 20 - or after 83 days. You can file 8 or 9 or 10 days early if you wish. So even though my 90 days was filed and approved on time, the system couldn't handle that it wasn't the 20th and presumably blew a fuse.
What's next? I've been told I can count the next 90 days from the April 27th which would make it on July 26. (A Saturday of course). So I will file on July 19. And hopefully get another 83 days. The fact I don't have any paperwork in my passport doesn't seem to bother anyone. If it does, I will probably file my next report from the Bangkok Hilton. - Cheers.

Re: 90 Days Online
The only thing that would surprise me would be if they did tell anyone. This is yet another example of why I always recommend doing whatever is necessary with immigration as far in advance as allowed. That way if you have to find out about changes the hard way, at least you have time to comply with whatever they want in time to avoid getting in trouble.thewayhelooks wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 4:12 pm Immigration has changed the rules again and hasn't bothered to tell anyone, as far as I know. When they do make changes it is also rare for them to explain why they made the changes.

Re: 90 Days Online
The trouble is they tell you how to report online. I think any idiot can easily figure out how to do the online report with no need for a detailed explanation. That's not the problem. The problem is sometimes the system doesn't work. I've been approved several times, but I have also been rejected twice - with no explanation as to why. I ended up having to personally go to immigration to submit my report, just like the old days.thewayhelooks wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 5:16 pm If you are having problems, I recommend trying the Pattaya City Expats link
Re: 90 Days Online
Are you expecting something honest ?

For example:
"We're not getting enough tea money in this month. As a result, we deliberately broke the online reporting system and started requiring additional documents which we don't really need & are not required by other immigration centres. This will make it significantly more difficult for customers to process their own applications.
Based on past experience, we can expect a 10% increase in customers paying for "premium service" via agents. This should fix the tea money deficit"

There has been no change. I haven't had any problem in getting my confirmation email(s) when reporting on line, but a couple of times I never rec'd the reminder email notice that it was due. My last online report:My Thai partner phoned Immigration Police today and was told that the last date you can file for a 90 days is a week out.
20 April 2025 due date
12 April 2025 submitted (6 days out)
16 April 2025 receipt
When checking for status online, if it shows approved, but you didn't get the email, on the left side are 2 pdf file links - one for the initial TM.47 report and the second for the "Receipt. You should be able to go online and get the pdf file for the receipt. You can then print it out to put in your passport. It was approved on Monday 28th, according to Immigration's update status. However I did NOT receive the email conformation, please print out and staple in your passport.

The first 90 Day Address Report must be filed at a Thai Immigration Office. Once filed, subsequent reports can be filed online within 14 days of the due date, but not after.
MANY PROBLEMS REPORTED ABOUT 90 DAY ADDRESS REPORT ONLINE
https://pcec.club/online-90-day
We continue to receive conflicting reports about successfully filing the TM.47 online. For unknown reasons, the online system may accept the first report (and even subsequent reports) but then reject a report although it contains correct information and is being timely filed. In such cases, the message will usually tell you to visit your Immigration Office immediately. The reports we have received is that inquiry with the Immigration Officer when making the report in person, they will not know the reason.

Re: 90 Days Online
Yesterday I submitted my 90-day address report application online. Today I received the approval. Once again, the only thing on this application that was any different from previous ones was the submission date.
While I am truly glad my application was approved this time, the rejections without providing any reasons are still too recent to count on the next ones being approved. My next report is due in September. I hope that, along with all future submissions, will be approved. If it's anything I dislike, it's trips to immigration for anything other than my retirement visa extension. And if they ever come up with a way to do those extensions online, no complaints from me . . .

Re: 90 Days Online
This is the reason why I don't play with the on-line report, and I have no plans to start in the future either unless I were to become physically disabled.
It's a shame because this really is a modern convivence, but unfortunately we're not living in a modern country. Too disjointed...too many opportunities for errors...nobody reading out of the same book. Actually there is no book.
Not for me!

Re: 90 Days Online
If the application gets rejected, then it's a trek to immigration. If it gets approved, not necessary to go to immigration. What's the problem?
Re: 90 Days Online
If their system is intermittently rejecting reports that it should be approving - it's not a capable system.
I'm just not comfortable entering personal information in a flawed system like this until they get it fixed.
And I'm not holding my breath.
