A video here.

1 Leaves from Sukhumvit Road. OK if you stay near there!!!
2 They drop the punters off at Suvarnabhumi Bus terminal. Which is as much use as a chocolate kettle. He then had to wait another 30 minutes for the shuttle bus to the airport.

The existing bus goes direct ftom Jomtien to departures.

I doubt this will be much use to those going to Suvarnabhumi Airport, but this is the first bus service I know of that will go from Pattaya to the Don Mueang Airport.

I wonder why there isn't any kind of bus or shuttle service, at least none I know about, that goes from Pattaya to the U-Tapao Airport.

Of course there is always the option of opening one's wallet a little bit more and taking a taxi to or from the airport and not bother about the buses. That is my preference.

I've tried both.

The bus is cheaper, safer and you can see much more. I'd rather be in a good bus than a taxi.

The taxi is probably about 15 minutes quicker and there's an additional gain from not having to go to the bus station. I would typically take the taxi if going direct from Pattaya to a long haul flight. If I'm just going from Pattaya to Bangkok, I'll take the bus and then the airport rail link.

However, that will be the convenient Jomtien bus, not the pigs ear of a service from Sukhumvit.

More Details on the Long-Awaited Pattaya-Don Mueang Airport Route

by Aim Tanakorn

March 13, 2025

The Transport Company Ltd. (Bor Khor Sor) has officially launched a new bus route connecting Pattaya to Don Mueang Airport.

Passengers in Pattaya can board the pink buses on Sukhumvit Road, opposite the Father Ray Foundation.

In addition to the Pattaya-Don Mueang route, the company also offers a Pattaya-Suvarnabhumi Airport service.

Passengers can purchase tickets at counters at Don Mueang Airport. The ticket counter for Terminal 1 is located at Gate 2, 1st Floor, serving international travelers, while the counter for Terminal 2 is at Gate 11, 1st Floor, serving domestic passengers.

In Pattaya, the pickup point is situated on Sukhumvit Road, outbound lane, opposite the Father Ray Foundation.

For inquiries and reservations, passengers can contact 093-849-4487 or 061-432-9851, available daily from 05:00 AM to 08:00 PM.

Online booking options include the official website https://tcl99web.transport.co.th/, the E-Ticket App, and the Bo-Ko-So Official Line Account at https://lin.ee/VDgDC0K (ID: @TCL99), however not all options are launched as of press time.

Alternatively, customers can reach the customer service hotline for more questions at 02-936-3660, however a Thai speaker is recommended. Prices may vary during the initial launch campaign so TPN Media suggests to check in advance.

Good luck using that site.
You have to put Bangkok in one box & select BKK in the box below.
Then for the other boxes Chon Buri (with a space !!!) & Pattaya in the box below that.

Then it says "trip is not found". I only wanted to check times.

I tried the website in Thai language, assuming the error lies in translation.

And in Thai all fine: you have to put in province (Bangkok) and specific bus station (Don Mueang), same for destination (Chonburi, Central Pattaya) and get times (6:30, 10:30, 13:30, 17:30) and number of available seats (between 34 to 36 on 10jun) and price (155 THB).

That's gaps of 3-4 hours between buses. I would guess there is higher demand to justify buses running every hour; anyway I can't imagine anyone arriving would be willing to wait for more than one hour, but arrange other transportation.

I also can't imagine anyone would choose to wait more than 1 hour.

The existing service to Jomtien has 1 hour intervals, but these days, it tends to fill up, so advance booking is advisable. Then there is the matter of flight or baggage handling delays, so it's a case of estimating which bus could be caught.

Whilst I have used the bus to Jomtien many times, so far I have never used it directly after a long haul flight.

According to BOLT prices, it should cost around 500 baht, give or take about 100 baht. If not using BOLT, expect to pay more.
