I think Trump is right to deport illegal immigrants.
I would strongly support deportation of illegal immigrants from the UK too, with those from the middle-East as the top priority.
Send them directly back to the middle East. If they have deliberately destroyed their passports, just estimate the destination based on a DNA test.
As for Trump's list:
"Partial Visa Suspension: A second category, including Belarus, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Russia, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Turkmenistan, would experience partial visa restrictions. These limitations might specifically affect tourist, student, and immigrant visas, though certain exemptions may be available."
What has Laos done wrong ? I'm quite impressed with the results of Lao migration to Pattaya. They're nice polite & well behaved.

Re: Trump
The only thing I can think of is that Laos is a Communist country. There may be other factors that are not generally known. For instance there is no extradition treaty between Laos and the USA. I have no idea why. Then again, uninhabited areas where there is no human population or presence at all are on Trump's list.
It makes no sense to me. Other than petty crimes, I know of no serious crimes or terrorist plots ever involving any Laotians. I also know of no Laotian governmental ties to terrorist or criminal organizations.
Someone in the USA decided Laos should be on Trump's 'shit list'. I would be interested to know who and why.
I doubt Trump himself sat down and drew up the list. I think he simply signed off on it without questioning anything about it. It would come as no surprise to me if Trump has never even heard of Laos. Even if he has, I'd be shocked if he could find it on a map. After all, we're talking about a man who thinks we are in Thigh-land . . .
Re: Trump
My question is:
Why isn't China on the list for either Full or Partial Visa Suspensions?
China is the largest Communist country in the world...poses the greatest threat to the current Democratic World Order...have spy and espionage networks planted all over the free-world including the U.S....and openly displays contempt for the U.S. and its NATO allies on the geopolitical landscape.
The U.S. failed at reading the tea leaves decades ago and should have been focused on self-sufficiency in the markets that China was building to support its exports. There isn't anything that's manufactured in China that couldn't either be manufactured in the U.S. or obtained on the ever-expanding global supply-chain. The U.S (and others) took their eyes off the ball.

Re: Trump
Only 100 days;
... and the idiot has already confused and inflamed every world leader on the planet...insulted and backstabbed the country's closest allies...drove the U.S. economy to the brink of recession...buried the U.S. federal courts with dozens of frivolous law suits - almost all of which violate the U.S. Constitution...calls Putin his friend and then feels the cold steel of Putin's KGB ramrod being stuck up his ass on the world stage...calls Xi his friend and then gets stonewalled by Xi who is now reaping the rewards by offering trade deals on the global supply-chain and won't even return Trumps phone call
...refers to the leader of Ukraine a loser and blames him for starting the war (a remark that only an insane person would make)...makes a complete fool of himself by attacking the U.S. Central Bank for providing the American people with an accurate financial report...and then has the nerve to stand in front of his numb-scull MAGA followers at the 100 day celebration and make the remark: "You haven't seen anything yet". Talk about icing on the cake.
All logic would say that grounds for impeachment are already solidified - but I just don't see that happening. What I do see, although looking through some very heavy fog, is that the Democrats will most likely retake the House in the mid-term elections, thus giving the U.S. a bit more protection from Trumps insane acts, but a new leader has to emerge, and soon, to champion the cause and move things forward.
I think it's inevitable that a large swath of the Trumps working-class followers will start changing their tune once their 401k savings for retirement start withering away (like what's happening right now)...free Medicaid health insurance for low-earners vanishes leaving them fending for themselves...social security benefits shrink to where citizens will have to work until they're as old as Moses before retiring (that would be the biblical Moses,,,LOL)...they can't afford to buy a car, let alone a home, and the man-of-the-house is being served a slice of Spam for dinner because that's all his wife can afford at the store.
This is where reality sets in, and Trump will begin to lose supporters - no doubt about that, but how many and how fast remains to be seen. Once those wheels are in motion the cowards that support Trump on his cabinet and in the GOP will start to get weak at the knees. Knowing that these are people with no integrity whatsoever I imagine we'll start hearing all the cowardly rationalizations as to why they were supported this idiot to begin with as they weasel their ways onto more solid ground.
Wishful thinking!

Re: Trump
Trump is now busy trying to deny he had anything to do with it, saying someone - he does not know who - must have used AI without his knowledge. Maybe so, but he doesn't seem to object to it. This is about as inappropriate as it gets.
Re: Trump
Religion is about as inappropriate as it gets & some of the past popes make Trump look good:
