So many are gone now. Only a few of us "old timers" still left.
Getting old and passing away is easy to understand, but since I've been around Thailand I've seen just as many boys in their 20's and 30's pass away as I have the older silver-haired expats which isn't so easy to understand.
As much fun as the working boys can have in Pattaya it has its share of slippery slopes where many fall victim to drug usage and excessive alcohol consumption which commonly contributes to so many deaths over here.
February last year i was around 2 hours away from passing. Had little accident in my appartment. My legs have been dead and i needed 2 days to reach mobile. Was 4 days in ICU and after 5 weeks in the surgery. After releasing stayed 6 month for rehabilitation near Dresden in special private hospital. Without help can not visit LOS again. I am enabled now with bad walking. I really miss Pattaya and Asia.
Thank you GB. I always remember our dinner in the restaurant from the Aussie Guy. Some time he had also guesthouse around the corner from Austrian embassy. I believe his name was Monty.
