Logging in twice

GB not sure if you've noticed or you might have a thread on this, every time I put a post on here I have to log in twice and keep losing my thread, I've worked around it, but think you should know, it's been happening for at least a year. Thanks.

This is the first I've heard of that kind of problem. No one else has said anything about a similar problem. Maybe the board migration - tomorrow at the time of this post - will "cure" the problem.

If not, a few things to try:

1. Make sure you are clicking on "submit" rather than "preview"

2. Scroll down to the bottom and click on "Delete cookies"

3. Clear your browser cache

Let me know if those clear the problem.

I do sometimes get logged out at random. This has been happening for years and I have reported it before.
However, it is rarely so frequent that it impedes posts, as in the previous example.

How long has it been since that happened?

I suggest trying the same 3 steps I suggested above, hopefully to prevent it from happening again.

Is this happening to anyone else? If yes, please let me know so I can start trying to figure out what the problem is.

This was happening to me as well for about a year.

I followed GB's 3 steps a month or so ago and it seemed to help - but not always.

Now, after the merger of the server, the problem seems to have gone away.

Fingers crossed.
