Now I agree on that. I also include the uniformed criminals.

I totally disagree on that.

If you had a free for all on migration, nice countries like Switzerland would be full of Taliban sympathizers within a few years. Countries should be able to set their own immigration rules.

They should try to do it responsably too. For example, any political party that decides to allow in millions of people from the middle east who refuse to integrate or respect local culture deserves to find the voters looking for a more radical party to deal with the problem. As is happening in parts of Europe.
So uncontrolled immigration can be irresponsible.

Incidentally, let's look at some people I have much more respect for.
All the money boys from Cambodia and Laos come to Thailand, because they can. If they were allowed to go to any country where they could support themselves, many would be in developed countries, charging developed country prices. Or getting £12 per hour at Tesco.
It would make Pattaya less fun, in the same way that a trip to Prague is not what it used to be.
I'm not commenting on what's right and wrong in this last paragraph, but just stating what would happen.
[I'd quite like to see a few more Lao boys in the UK].

What is interesting it says in the Daily Mail, and I know it's a tabloid to a certain degree that he got his funds from his family in the UK, now, what family would send money to you for 25 years!

On a positive note I remember when you could go to nearly any country and settle visa free, in 1972, you could go to New Zealand and just get a job, as an example.
