I've not encountered all of the additional attitude issues mentioned. I'm surprised they haven't simply fired him.

They certainly have the finest selection of boys in Pattaya. However, before the show, it seems the majority are on display outside. It then only takes about 2 customers to fill the comfy seats in the outdoor section, leaving the choices of going inside or to another bar. I usually choose the latter option.
If they put so many boys outside, a few comfy customer seats outside would help.
As it is now, the bar seems to be fairly quiet until near show time.

A new closed front bar has opened in Jomtien. I think it was called Candy Boys and the signs describe it as a "Cabaret and Cocktails" bar.
I'm more into "Beer and Boys", so I have no plans to visit.

Another cabaret bar, so more evidence of Jomtien "not being zoned for entertainment".🙂

On Facebook they have tagged searchwords like #ladyboyshow #drag #dragbar and the photos match those descriptions so unfortunately it's not for me but I wish them all well.

You're not selling it to me with that description :?

At least it's a closed fronted bar, so customers of nearby bars should not be disturbed by noise.

The only shows I've seen on this trip were at M-Bar and Sunee Bar, both of which were led by cute BOYS and were good.

Plus the dancing at Gus, which has boys in shorts. This was also OK, although with music volume at the sort of level that I could tolerate for only one drink.

Over on Sawatdee, some members are lamenting the decline of NighBoy, or whatever it's called now.
I've never been a fan of this bar, but if they are alienating the remaining customers at a time when Jomtien has a far better product, the end must be near.
That's competition doing what it's supposed to.

I made another visit to M Bar recently, for the show. I like this.
Nice boys and a reasonable music volume. As usual, no ladyboys on stage, although one large example was serving.
At the end of the show, the boys were all on stage in their shorts for some time. Like a gogo bar, minus the numbers?

I can confirm this and I used to be a fan of the bar for many years. But they sure have alienated me with the prices and strange decisions. I take my business elsewhere.

The thai police haven't forgotten about Sunee plaza. About 15 cops bothered to raid the bars there a couple of days ago. Checking boys ID's for age and nationality. No issues were found from what I've heard.

That type of thinking has been going on for years. If they're not making enough money, no problem - just raise the prices . . .

The Sunee bar show used to be all male, but not anymore. Maybe some customers complained there weren't any women or ladyboys in the show? They have added a woman to the show. Still mostly cute boys in the show however.
