Well, as far as the question "Same Sex Marriage - Who's Doing It?"... 400 gay couples tied the knot in Bangkok yesterday during the celebration at Siam Paragon, and Jai read where it was estimated at. 4,000 gay couples were registered across the Kingdom yesterday as well.
We watched the evening news on TV last night and they showed the huge mass of gay couples at Paragon and we only saw one farang in the mix. This is pretty much what I expected and could be representative of the percentages we see as time moves on.
They must have interviewed dozens of couples in the media across the LGBTQ spectrum and from what the couples were saying - they had been in relationships with their significant others for many years (almost all over 10 years), with one lesbian couple who had been together for nearly 40 years.
That reminded me of my dear friends Jack and Ralph from the old Memories Bar who were getting close to the 40 year anniversary when Jack passed away. They had already wed in the U.S. but would have surely been celebrating the events yesterday.

Yes, Jai and I plan to get our marriage Registered sometime in the next few months, although will forego the formal ceremony.
I've ruin the whole gamut: First a formal Buddhist ceremony with Thep after being together for 6-1/2 years - which ended tragically with his death.
Then, the mock wedding you referred to, where I hosted that street party you attended with that cute monk I was coupled with at the time. Fortunately we never followed through with the formal wedding which would have been held with his family in Nakon Phenom because of a falling out.
Now, it's time my third adventure.
I remember what a friend told me once like it was yesterday..."Dodger, you know what your problem is - you love being in love." No truer words ever spoken...
