I must have walked past the Paradise Spa Massage place hundreds of times as I approached Boyztown but had never been in. It's more expensive than the places around Tukcom with a 700 Baht fee for a one-hour oil massage. I think I saw a minimum tip of 600 Baht on the price list described as a "soft tip".
I had the choice of six guys and I chose a tall, thin guy with a nice smile. He turned out to be a 20-year-old Cambodian called "Chai".
I don't think he knew much about massage but it was pleasant and, when I'd eased him out of his briefs, extremely pleasant.
The rooms are excellent with an en-suite shower so you're not separated from your belongings which I prefer.
He told me the tip he wanted when we'd finished which was what I was going to give him anyway but I'm not keen on being told like that. Never-the-less I'd choose him again as I enjoyed it.

Re: Paradise Spa massage
For me, it would depend on how he told you what he wanted. I do take into consideration that these boys all too often end up catering to a cheapskate who tries to get away with giving as little as possible, but if he was coming across as more or less demanding the tip amount, unless it was an outrageous amount, I would probably give it to him, mainly to avoid trouble, but it would be the last time I would choose him.
On the other hand, if the manner by which he was asking for a specific amount was acceptable, that would be a different story and if I was pleased with his "masseur skills" I would likely be back with him again.
Re: Paradise Spa massage
En-suite is convenient, but no matter what the arrangement, my belongings go with me. When I remember, I take a carrier bag.
I'm glad the massage worked out for you. Tipping properly for a good massage with extras is fair enough.
Although, having re-read your post, it sounds like the emphasis is more on the extras. I expect a massage with my massages, so perhaps this is not the place for me.
Re: Paradise Spa massage
Same for me. And sadly still has never seen a boy there that made me want to enter. Maybe some day.
Re: Paradise Spa massage
If that's the massage place across from Toy Boys, I have also not been tempted. Not even close. I've even given up looking.
The one around the corner near the former Happy Boy Place ? Gogo bar is far more promising.
Re: Paradise Spa massage
Paradise Spa is in the building where the "Happy Place" bar used to be. The one actually in Boztown was "Scandic" but I think it's closed now. It certainly looked closed the other night.
Re: Paradise Spa massage
Having established which one is Paradise, they certainly have some nice looking lads.
However, I'm not sure I like their minimum fee structure of 700 + 600 tip.
Whilst I have spent more than that on each of my massages on this trip, that's been well deserved.
However, in the past, I've occasionally had an unsatisfactory massage, at other places. To the extent where I decline any extra service.
Hopefully Paradise have more quality control than this, but from the opening post, it sounds like the quality of the massage part is not guaranteed ?
Even if they are good at the other parts. Which is fine if you're not expecting a massage.

Re: Paradise Spa massage
700 baht is over-the-top IMO. And I guess 600 baht for a soft tip means all you get is a masseuse with a soft dick.
Go to Relax Massage behind Tukcom.
Re: Paradise Spa massage
Years ago that used to have a mixture of male and female staff. I used to select one of the males and it always used to be good.
Then, over 10 years ago, they tried putting the price of a 1 hour oil massage up to 400 baht. Bear in mind, the usual price is still 300 in 2024.
The first poor massage I had there coincided with the price increase. I don't mind paying for superior quality, but only if the quality is there. So I started looking elsewhere.
They realigned their pricing, but I rarely visit. I find the quality of massage is better nearby at Somjit.
I also found a very good Vietnamese masseur on Jack'D. His profile claimed 24, his ID card said 31 and as he would just about pass for 24, I accepted that. He was very good and was invited back several times. Unfortunately, he put on quite a lot of weight prior to my last trip.
I still hired him for his massage skills, but this time he's gone back to Vietnam.
Re: Paradise Spa massage
The Paradise Spa is certainly expensive compared to the Tukcom places. Somjit down the side of Tukcom is 300 Baht and I assume Relax@me is similar although I've not been there recently.
I've also not been to Helios for some time but if you want a real masssge then their more macho boys might be the right place.
The old Royal House massage is currrently being rebranded as "BB Gun Batchelor Club". They were working on the new signage today. I've no clue what sort of place that will be.
