I'm contemplating taking my daughter and her husband for a short 2 ngt. stay on Koh Larn when they visit Thailand in October. As die-hard Koh Samet fans we've never been there so need to learn a bit.
Any recommendations regarding lodging, best beach, restaurants, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Also, if someone can tell me if I can drive to where the ferry picks up in Pattaya - and park my vehicle there until we return
Thanks in advance.
Koh Larn Questions
Re: Koh Larn Questions
I'd also be interested in any information. My Thai boyfriend is always saying he is going to organise it but never actually does so and then blames me. The last time we nearly went he suddenly got nervous about the boat journey after some tourist boat accidents.
Re: Koh Larn Questions
Koh Larn is an easy day trip. I had time to walk the length and breadth of it and still catch the ferry back to Pattaya. They had life jackets on the boat, so I wouldn't be too concerned about safety.
Re: Koh Larn Questions
It wouldn't worry me but my boyfriend is a very nervous traveller. If he doesn't like the look of a taxi driver we have to get out and once in Bangkok he was sick on a long tailed boat ride.
