I don't think I've ever seen a Chinese customer in a Pattaya bank or exchange. Do they change all their cash back home?

Maybe they don't need to. I never see them spending any money either . . .Oliver wrote:Do they change all their cash back home?

Here in BKK-my last day: those wellknown SuperRich exchanges-there are in fact 3 different (blue/white, green and (family got troubles long time ago)-1 =orange of these is expanding and has some 40+ offices now, also in CNX, THRONG-sometimes to overflowing, with Chinese, this also due to the old communist style restrictions on unwanted and often still unchangeable CNY=Chinese Yuan. Their rates for CNY are indeed extremely sharp-in fact for me it was cheaper to change from EUR-via THB-to CNY at SR as doing that in CHIna with its state-controlled lazy monopolist banks. Next come all those Asians who dont trust their own banks-the VNese, Khmer etc.
SO; you re just looking at the wrong places.
That BigC beside SR on Rajprasong-opposite Word Trade is also thronged to overflowing with the same shoppers after their exchanges. Funny that the Chinese come to TH to buy giant boxes full of dried mango.

These Arabs take big risks. In their home country being gay is punishable by death (or at the least social exclusion). Say someone back home happens to see on social media a picture of an Arab he knows and he is kissing a Thai gogo boy. That Arab has then a big problem.
I wonder if gay Arabs in Pattaya look constantly around themselves if they don't accidently end up in the photograph of a hetero Arab.
