I received the following in an Email. Who knows? Maybe it's available in the bars . . .

Nutt? Na, I prefer the traditional spelling.

Non-dairy 'milk' that's never seen an udder's in danger of taking over the supermarket shelves. I tried an almond 'milk' once but wasn't impressed, sweet and sickly it was. I've also tried a coconut milk and various soya varieties.

I am surprised no one on the board has come up with a do-it-yourself recipe to make nut milk, it's not something I would normally bother doing myself but if you were so inclined good results should be possible, certainly a far better drink than commercially available nut milk.

Easy nut milk homemade recipe
Whether it’s in line at a coffee shop, browsing a grocery aisle, during a cooking class, or responding via text or email to anyone who asks, this simple nut milk formula is the recipe I find myself reciting most often. Perhaps it’s my go-to because the results are extremely delicious with so little effort or because I expect anyone can easily memorize the formula: one part nuts to four parts water. Soak the nuts if they have a skin.

I promise after you try making your own nut milk, you’ll never go back to the packaged varieties chock-full of complicated ingredients, including thickeners, stabilizers, and often artificial ingredients. Some commercially made almond milk may contain only 2 percent almonds, so it’s no wonder it offers very little in the way of protein and nutrients. The disagreeable flavors from the long-life packaging can be hidden well enough in baked goods or pancakes, but it will ruin your matcha latte in an instant. With this recipe, a blender, and a nut milk bag (or cheesecloth) you can make delicious-tasting nut milk at home in a matter of minutes.

Why almond milk is a rip-off
People drink almond milk for a variety of reasons, but many have no idea how devoid of nutrients their trendy dairy milk alternative actually is.

Each half-gallon carton contains very few actual almonds. Evidence shows there may be just over a handful.

While the amount of almonds in each brand of the beverage vary, an analysis of UK almond milk brand Alpro showed that nuts make up just 2% of the drink.

Business Insider was told by spokesperson Carissa Sauer of the trade group Almond Board of California that "ingredient combinations are pretty similar" between UK and US almond milk products.

This leaves almond milk largely empty of the most beneficial part of almonds — protein.

Been there, done that. Making homemade nut milk is a mess. You have to squeeze the bag with your bare hands and it gets everywhere. Then after you make it, if you don't drink it right away, it goes bad, real fast. I've had nut milk go bad just after 2 days. Whether to use a nut milk, coconut milk or dairy milk depends on its intended use in a recipe. Personally, I use full-fat whipping cream just for the morning coffee, and leave the rest of dairy alone. You can buy soy milk, too-- but soy presents other health problems, too. If you want to go the commercial route, the best brand to use in morning coffee is here. It has a much creamier texture than almond milk.

Do that every morning and it won't be very long before the "full-fat" won't be residing just in the fridge. :o

Three posters miserable failures of a rorschach test or three posters who are clean living decent people. Ignoring politely what I see. I on the other hand see penises in every cloud. It's nice that this NUTT milk comes in circumcised and au natural.

That's a quite reasonable assumption but a common misconception, and we're talking about a splash in the morning coffee. Of all liquid 'milk' products, heavy cream has the most fat and the least carbohydrate (especially lactose). So, if YOU are alright with milk products 'philosophically' cream is better than whole milk, which is better than skimmed milk. Less fat=more carbs. The body burns fat first. Besides Smiles, bet I got less body fat than you do.
