Frozen UK State Pensions

This "problem" has been going on for years. So unfair, that the UK pension is frozen as of the day one retires if you choose to retire in a country that does not have an agreement with the UK. Most commonwealth countries don't, including Australia, South Africa and Canada, yet the Phillippines does have an agreement, it really isn't fair. If you retire in Thailand your pension also gets frozen.

An example of this is a 60 year old UK woman retired in Australia some 40 years ago, her pension is froze at £6 odd per week, the amount she received when she was 60. Give the Australian Government fair due, they did top it up, well, until 2001, when the agreement with the UK ceased.
