There was a raid on Saturday night with Immigration officers guarding both ends of the main Jomtien bar soi. The pool playing boys at 69 bar were carted off in a truck and a 3000 baht fine was imposed on each boy. They boys were back on Sunday night playing pool at 69 bar like nothing had happened. I have no information on who paid the fines.
This is a clear example of Pattaya Police enforcing corruption, rather than enforcing the law.
ie If there is illegal activity, rather than stop it, they just take a payment to allow it to continue.
However, considering about 80% of the boys that interest me in Pattaya are from Cambodia or Laos, perhaps it is better that they allow these to be employed for tea money, rather than put a stop to it.
Also, a certain gogo bar in Sunee might have more on the stage to interest me, if they were prepared to do what it takes to have a few Cambodian and Lao lads.

B.N bar was told they were required to pay a 1000 baht fine for each of the five photos of Suk and their two other dancing boys that adorn the walls of the bar. The photos have been taken down. I have no idea what the problem was with the photos with the boy's in their usual show bar attire.
Having admired those very tasteful photos a couple of days ago, I cannot imagine that anything would be illegal about them. Guys with some underwear visible. Not even pushing the boundaries with visible erections underneath.
What is illegal about having photos of clothed guys on the wall ?
I suspect the only crime here is extortion. Nobody polices the brown shirt mafia.
