Yes, an L.E.D sign above the entrance.
And in other news, Dorothy's, which re-opened last weekend has now been taken over by the owners of M2M Bar Club Cabaret across the soi.

That's still a pretty good choice of bars. This compares very well with places like Bangkok or Chiang Mai, where I'm not even sure there's a bar I still want to visit.
I agree with what you say there Dodger. Of course a lot depends on the old chicken-egg scenario of if there's boys in the bars...customers will come, if there's customers...boys will come to service, and the new 60 day free visa will certainly help the availability of boys part of that.Dodger wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 8:06 am I was chatting with a boy who used to work at M2M yesterday and he now works at Dorothy's across the soi which just reopened.
That, coupled with the fact that +25 bars in JC are still operating gives a pretty good bill-of-health for the Complex.
M's Bar is still receiving high praise from everyone that I've talked to - with an ample supply of smiling boys...so, overall, things are looking pretty good.
I wonder if the legalization of gay marriage will have any effect on the number of gay tourists (domestic and international) visiting Pattaya in the future. We can only hope to see an increase - but with the world in the shape it's in right now even Einstein wouldn't have a clue.
Totally agree about other destinations, in the past I regularly used to mix my month's trips to Thailand based in Pattaya with visits to Bkk, Phuket, Chiang Mai. Haven't been to either Chiang Mai or Phuket for years, I still visit Bkk for 3 days mid-trip as there is [just] enough entertainment for me to still make it enjoyable. Patpong2 and Silom Soi 4 still have enough bars for 2-3 nights and DJ Station/GOD are still enjoyable change-of-scene for us to make it worthwhile. I still only visit South Pattaya Boyztown/Sunee a couple nights in a month's visit compared to pre-Covid where I based myself in Mosaik South Pattaya and spent many more nights there than Jomtien, now that's reversed.Jun wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 3:42 pm That's still a pretty good choice of bars. I get the impression there's been more growth in the small bars in Jomtien, at the expense of the bigger bars.
I’m not surprised they never opened. If you were expecting Eros to be like it once was, I don’t see how that would be possible or allowed in Boystown.Gaybutton wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 6:04 pm Some of you are quite well versed with the bar goings-on. As an aside, something I have been curious about - maybe some of you have the answer.
Eros was going to reopen in Boyztown. The owner "confirmed" that several times, but obviously it didn't happen. Do any of you know what's going on with that? Will Eros ever actually reopen? Does anyone know why it hasn't?
I wasn't expecting. More like fingers crossed hoping. He must have had some kind of plan going, but obviously it never materialized.
