Could it? Did you really think that through? Is watching gay porn enough to satisfy you? Does that relieve you of the urge to take boys off for sex? Do you believe many reading this would say it's enough for them? If the answer to that is yes, then people might as well save themselves the cost of a holiday in Thailand.

Re: Boys
I've always thought there are plenty of Asians over 18 who are as cute as hell and would be fine in porn. However, I'm not sure anyone is casting them in such roles. Certainly not with only cute lads, high resolution & good lighting.
Why bother, when your work would be pirated & distributed around the world by others ?

No, just watching porn when I can travel to where the real thing is and not worry about the law makes it not enough.Gaybutton wrote: ↑Wed Sep 10, 2025 4:13 pmCould it? However, if I was a pedophile. Knowing I could be placed in prison and have my reputation destroyed, I think just watching porn would be enough. Some would take the risk, but there would be a legal alternative for the rest.
A real beef burger is great, but a veggie burger isn’t bad.

Yes, it wouldn’t be worth it. Maybe why the music is so lousy now, the profit motive isn’t there with what the streaming music services pay.Jun wrote: ↑Wed Sep 10, 2025 4:39 pm I've always thought there are plenty of Asians over 18 who are as cute as hell and would be fine in porn. I did enjoy the Private Boy Movie videos from years ago, however they seemed to be exploited a bit. I don’t know what they were paid but it probably wasn’t enough.

Re: Boys
You do have a point there, but the problem is there are enough pedophiles for whom porn is nowhere near enough and they look for where they can go and get away with it.
At least the pedophile problems in Pattaya seem to have been ended for quite some time. I don't recall seeing any news items about pedophile arrests for several years now. In the past news about pedophile arrests would appear almost weekly, sometimes more than once a week. So, wherever the pedophiles go these days, I'm glad it isn't here.
Re: Boys
It’s no longer ubiquitous in pattaya. Like you say, not many reports in the news.
The last time I witnessed it was at a club diagonally across the soi from Nice boys. It’s a hairdressing shop or something similar now.
Who knows where they go now. I knew a couple of boys that worked when they were underage, I met them when they were about 21. One worked in Euro Bar and told me stories of running out the back and climbing walls to avoid the police.

Re: Boys
Back in the day, there were the bars that actually catered to pedophiles. They had a system set up so that somehow they usually received warnings when police raids were imminent. The under-age boys and drug abuse boys would quickly escape prior to the raid and would be back either when the raid was over or the next night.
I know for a fact about one such bar owner who paid 20,000 baht per month tea money to have the police look the other way and bypass his bar during raids. There were also several short time rooms that, as long as the farang paid cash, would also look the other way. To the best of my knowledge all of that is a thing of the past and has not existed for many years.
However, the tea money system seems to be alive and well for other things . . .

Re: Boys
Most of you are probably aware that many of the Cambodian boys who worked in the bars were in Thailand illegally. For you, that was not a problem. It was never incumbent upon you to check whether the boy was in Thailand legally. Now, because of the border dispute and restrictions finding Cambodian boys in the Pattaya bars is quite difficult.
It is about to get even more difficult for the boys who used to sneak across the border and enter Thailand illegally. The military is not stupid. They know damned well where Cambodians trying to enter Thailand illegally are most likely to try to cross the border. And the consequences for getting caught are likely more severe these days. We have no way of knowing what happens to boys caught crossing the border illegally - and if I were one of those boys I wouldn't want to find out the hard way. I have a feeling it probably is not a pleasant experience.
In short, if you are looking for Cambodian boys, you would be best to plan a trip to Cambodia.

Royal Thai Army Plans to Move Forward With Plan for Border Fence with Cambodia
By Adam Judd
October 6, 2025
Lieutenant General Weerayut Raksin, Commander of the 2nd Army Region, has disclosed plans to construct a border fence along the Thai–Cambodian frontier, beginning with key strategic areas to strengthen security for both military personnel and civilians. He made the statement during an inspection tour alongside Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul in Buriram Province.
Lt. Gen. Weerayut explained that the fence will not consist solely of barbed wire but will include additional security measures to reinforce border defenses, such as CCTV surveillance systems for 24-hour monitoring, particularly at night. The initial phase will prioritize areas of tactical importance, guided by the principle that civilian safety can be ensured when the soldiers are also safe.
He added that the plan’s future expansion—whether the fence will eventually extend along the entire Thai–Cambodian border—will depend on further evaluation and strategic priorities.

Re: Boys
From a limited sample of Cambodians I've either offed or talked to, the majority were doing border runs & were at least in Thailand legally.
However, that still leaves some who either entered the country on a passport & overstayed, or entered illegally.
The boy who I've seen the most times was an overstayer. He got caught & is banned from entering Thailand, for 5 years, if I understand correctly.
The boy who is my current favourite doesn't even have a passport. His plan was to get one, but the border dispute erupted just in time for him to rethink that. He remains in Jomtien, unlike some other Cambodian lads I know.
