The security guard at the Royal Garden Plaza was requiring a group of 6 tourists to put shirts on before entering.
Normally, I'm all for that. However, this was a group of fit young Koreans. Removing their shorts would have been a better direction.

Re: Dress Code
I rarely see guys like that walking around shirtless. Usually it's aging farang who ought to be the last ones to be shirtless or open-shirted. I don't care when it's on the street or in a shopping mall. If they want to look like some kind of schmuck, fine with me. But I definitely disapprove when they do that in grocery stores. I find that rather disgusting and unsanitary, but I never see any grocery store employees or security doing anything to stop them.
Re: Random Observations of a Tourist 2025
There's a farang who often visits a certain coffee shop in South Pattaya. He's often discussing what he looks for in women with another farang and it's not a very sophisticated discussion.
The same farang seems to visit the Jomtien bars regularly, including one of my favourite bars. I've yet to hear him discuss his taste in boys at the coffee shop

Fine with me. I wouldn't be interested in his tastes whether he is talking about boys or not. The only tastes I truly care about are my own - and I doubt many would be interested in listening to me spout on about it.
