Unfortunately, all you get is a few small images on the page selected.
One of the articles on that page says "YouTube video of Boyz Town Carnival Street Party online"

I checked on YouTube and found that video. Here it is. (How many of you recognize Jim Lumsden?)

Far too many flaming drag queens for my taste in the video, but the parts with the boys are good - and in 2010, when the video was made. most had no tattoos. I'm not sure when the tattoo craze began, but at least for me it would have been far better if it had never happened.

As an aside, to Thais, for whatever reason "funny" does not mean funny as in humorous. It simply means "fun".

Funny Boys was probably the best gogo bar I've ever been in.
Of course, certain Sunee gogos were more fun, but the choice of boys in Funny Boys has never been beaten.

Moving across the road, here's a recent Facebook link which show the diversity on offer at Toy Boys.

One cute slim lad in the background. Exactly the type of lad I look for in a gogo bar.
Without being specific, another one who I certainly wouldn't employ in a "Perfect" bar & perhaps 3 or 4 more who probably are worthy of consideration. But a different camera angle would be needed.
No tattoos or moustaches visible in this photo.
Perhaps they would have 20 or more boys with this kind of mix, so several of the cute ones. If not getting there too late.

A far better offer than in Sunee Plaza (for my taste in boys).

If you're talking about the boy in the back, underneath the OY in BOYS, he would be my choice too - and not just in a go-go bar, but anywhere . . .

Definitely him.

All else being equal, I'd go for boys like him too. However, not all else is equal.

In a gogo bar, I can't really tell if he's going to be any good in bed. All I can do is judge him on appearance & apply basic but unreliable filters for other behaviours. For example, eliminating any boys who can't even bear to look at the customer(s).
So from gogo bars, I tend to off based on appearance above all else.

Let's say I off a gogo boy who is a 9/10 for appearance and I then find he a 6/10 in bed.

So when it's time co consider a repeat off, he might be competing against someone who I already know is a 8/10 for appearance and a 9/10 in bed.
The latter boy wins the repeat off.

Doesn't that go for any boy no matter where you find him, whether in a go-go bar, an app, or anywhere? You never know what you're going to get until you try. If he is good looking enough and fun to be with enough, but not very good in bed, I usually give him a second and sometimes a third chance. After all, he's with a total stranger and that can be very inhibiting at first. I've had many times when the second chance proved well worth it, after he's gotten to know me a little bit. That, of course, doesn't always work, but it has worked enough times to give that second chance unless there were just too many "red lights" the first time.

Haven't you ever met a boy by sheer chance - not in a bar or app at all, but on the outside somewhere?

In a way, it's kind of analogous to experiences I've had when buying clothes. I really liked it in the shop, but after I got it home I can't figure out why the hell I ever bought it.

Yes.
Any new boy is an unknown for in bed performance.
Although, if I'm meeting him via an app, I find it easier to specify that he has to do X, Y & Z to get paid. As a result, they either do X,Y and Z or choose not to meet.
So performance from app boys is more reliable.

Second chances depend on who else is available. Isn't that the case with your dating as well ?
If I have a good shortlist of people who are available and were very good on previous visits, I can't bear to choose the moderate performer ahead of them.
Also, if I see some very hot new candidates, they're more likely to be chosen ahead of someone who wasn't very good the previous time.

Yes, but that's rarer these days. So much is done via phones.

Social skills are also a factor.
However, anyone who is a 9/10 for looks, in bed performance and socials skills probably already has a boyfriend.

I really can't give a straightforward answer to either of those because there are so many variables. For example, if he wasn't good in bed, what part of "not good" was he? Good at some things, but not others? Entirely lousy? Bad attitude? Wanting me to do for him, but not willing or interested in doing what I want? Wanting his money, but not interested in doing much of anything to earn it? Fairly good, but trying to get me to give him much more money than we had agreed to?

Those things could happen with both bar boys and boys from the apps. Fortunately, at least for me any of those things happening has been quite rare. I can't even remember the last time I had a "guest" who turned out to be a big disappointment.

As far as second chances depending on who else is available, for me that usually is not the case because if I'm giving a second chance, then my mind is fixed on him, probably based on his looks more than anything else. Very little time goes by before he gets that second chance.

Exactly like you, I know all the problems you list, but it's been several years since I encountered any of those.
Asking the right questions before meeting probably helps.

However, even among the boys who do show up, there's quite a large variation in performance.
So the ones who provide service that I rate as just acceptable are unlikely to get a repeat. At least in Pattaya, where there are plenty of other boys.

However, my "best ever" Thai masseur was one of those I gave a second chance to.
He was cute & the professional element of the first massage was good. Unfortunately, I was hoping for more than just professional.

The main reason he got a second chance was his location. In the UK, where there is less competition. So eventually I went back.

Again there was a good professional massage, but this time he'd broadened the service offering.
Being self employed, he absolutely refused to take any extra money too & just wanted me to go back. Which I did regularly for several years.
Then he went back to Thailand on holiday & didn't return. I was gutted. I only had his What's App & he ceased using that after going back to Thailand.
