Ok, that settles that. Now perhaps we can get back to the topic.

Greetings to all Pattaya friends! I have been missing from the Pattaya boards scene for quite a while because my husband and I have been so busy! Here is a quick update about us below and I'd love to hear what's been new with any of you over the past 2 1/2 years!

My husband got a full time job about a year ago working as a chef in a popular local Thai restaurant. He has learned and grown a lot and we are enjoying the benefits of a DINK lifestyle!

We are planning to open up our own Thai take out restaurant in the next couple of years here and if it is successful may enlarge it to a dine-in venture as well.

Our three dogs had a successful journey from LOS and have settled in to their suburban, luxurious life in our new home on the lake! They love to run free through the woods around our house and play with their neighboring four legged creatures! They do not miss the Black Spitting Cobras of Pattaya. ;)

Besides that, all is pretty mundanely American here! My husband has fully transitioned into US life and wants to stay here for the foreseeable future. Therefore, I doubt a return to Thailand will happen before our retirement - but with Trump now in office - who knows!?

Looking forward to hearing from all of you...

Warmly,
Grimmy

In many ways, it is! Sometimes a bit hectic, but our work schedules overlap nicely for the dogs and allow us time together (as much as any working couple can expect!).

Oh my gosh...we were in Massachusetts for 5 days just recently. In Boston. Also were in Boston two years ago.
Please PM me where your located. Will try to get to see you in 2017.
If you are coming to Washington DC for the inauguration on Friday January 20... we'll be in DC arriving midday Tuesday January 17- departing Saturday January 21. Come join us if you can. I have a Marriott all suite hotel room at Dulles for 4 nights. Extra Queen size bed in our room. It's yours if you wish...with our compliments.
